Overview
Discover the future of air pollution control with NWL, brought to you by AMSC. NWL is a leading manufacturer of Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) products, offering a range of power supplies and ancillaries that enhance ESP performance and efficiency. NWL’s flagship product, PowerPlus™, revolutionizes ESP power with high voltage/high frequency switch mode technology. PowerPlus™ uses Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs). Our IGBTs allow for an enhanced power supply that operates at a much higher frequency, easily managing large currents and high voltages when compared to conventional single-phase units.
NWL’s compact ESPs integrate a current limiting reactor (CLR), Transformer/Rectifier (T/R) set, and the controller functions into one powerful package. Customers have reliably trusted our T/R sets for over 50 years. When used with our CLRs, you can maintain safe and efficient ESP operation with precise current flow. Sized to perform two functions, our CLRs protect circuit components and shape the AC sine wave. NWL CLRs can come as an open frame that easily fits into a desired space, with a NEMA rated enclosure, or as part of a T/R set. Included in the, PowerPlus™, we offer advanced control options for ESPs including the Graphic Rapper Controller, the Graphic Voltage Controller, and the Precipitator Control and Management System. PowerPlus™ models come in three different kV rating options, so you can rest assured that we have the rating you need. By adding PowerPlus™ to your applications, you achieve optimal fine particle removal, for a cleaner and compliant operations.
NWL ESPs can also come with innovate additions like our PowerCube™, a modern replacement for outdated silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) assemblies with a more reliable solid-state thyristor. Our PowerCube™ enhances safety by ensuring the heat sinks are not energized and features a more compact footprint, easily retrofitted in place of most SCR puck and heat sink locations.
Many industries can unlock the unmatched benefits of NWL’s advanced ESPs. Power plants, cement factories, steel mills, and other industrial facilities can achieve superior air quality control, maintain compliance with strict environmental regulations, and promote a healthier environment. NWL’s advanced ESP technology enhances operational efficiency and significantly reduces maintenance costs, for a robust return on investment. By adding NWL’s smart solutions, industries can elevate their sustainability practices, boost their green credentials, and contribute to a brighter, pollution-free future. With NWL’s industry-leading technology, you can trust in us for better and more reliable air pollution control.
